Ordering Online

Ordering Online with us is safe and secure!

We employ a method of interaction with our visitors that does not compromise credit card information. This online system is 100% secure.

We encourage you to feel comfortable using your credit card to conduct commerce on our site.

We have provided to option to take orders by phone. Please select this option during checkout and the give us a call to provide your card details

If you wish, you may also send us a Postal Order (only) or a personal cheque. Personal cheques will delay your order as we must wait for your funds to clear before we ship any merchandise.

Please allow an additional 7-10 business days for shipping of your merchandise if paid by personal cheque. To order by cheque, just print the order form with your shopping cart contents from the order confirmation page and complete the necessary fields, then mail the form to the address above.

Return / Refund Policy

If you should need to return any item for a refund or exchange please send within 10 days of receipt, for customers outside of the UK 28 days, unworn in original packaging including all labels & your returns label, with postage fully paid.

Items returned after 14 days will be accepted at our discretion, and if they have since entered the sale may only be refunded at the sale price.

We accept sale item returns but will issue a credit note rather than a cash refund.

1. Please complete the returns form found on the back of your delivery note, indicating whether you would like an exchange or refund. Returns forms not completed in full may take longer to exchange or refund.

2.Wrap footwear and place in the box with the heels facing outwards and away from each other, and ensure that the parcel is securely sealed prior to posting.

3.Put completed returns form in footwear box. Please post in the original plastic bag. Always obtain proof of postage when returning goods, we cannot be held responsible for return goods lost in transit.

Please do not place label or write directly on the Shoe Box. Damaging the shoe box or returning shoes in boxes not provided by us may result in an additional charge. Please email us; sales@thetalllady.co.uk or call 01761 221858 if a problem arises.

Please note; we do not provide a free returns service; however we will provide a refund for postage if you receive an incorrect item, or if the goods were faulty. Should you require an exchange your order will be sent to you free of charge.

Great care is taken by all the manufacturers supplying THE TALL LADY to ensure that all goods are durable. Please bear in mind however, that the level of durability must be appropriate in relation to the goods. Some of the designer footwear is intended exclusively for indoor wear and the lack of sturdiness is part of their appeal. Goods will not be regarded as faulty where they are damaged through inappropriate use. * Goods returned due to defective workmanship or faulty materials will be replaced if repairs cannot be made.

Our Goal is to provide you not only with an excellent product but excellent customer service too. Our hope is that you will enjoy wearing our shoes but if there is a need for us to refund or exchange your product we ask that you note the following:

When trying on your shoes, we ask you to do so on a carpeted floor. We will not be able to exchange or refund your purchase if worn or scratched in any way.

PLEASE NOTE: Socks & hosiery cannot be returned once opened.

In accordance with the Health and Safety at Work Act 1972, we are unable to handle any footwear unless it is clean and dry, due to the health hazard involved. Any goods received not in such a condition will be returned to the customer and invoiced back with post and packaging costs.

All orders are subject to availability or at the managers discretion.

Delivery Information

Delivery charges are calculated on destination basis. With an option for next day delivery for UK Mainland addresses.

Stock permitting, for UK deliveries we endeavour to despatch orders within two working days – reaching the customer in 7 working days. Overseas orders, may take longer.

  • UK Next Day Delivery £12.50 – (order must be received by 2.00pm)
  • Eire, Channel Islands, I.O.W, I.O.M. Northern Ireland £16.00 (48hrs delivery)
  • Europe i.e.; Germany, Denmark, France, Italy, Spain, Sweden, Austria, Finland, Portugal, Norway, Romania.Please allow 3 to 5 working days
    • orders up to 2.5 kilos £21.60
    • Orders over 2.5 kilos £35.00 – 3 to 5 pairs of shoes or 2 pairs of boots
  • Worldwide – Outside Continental Europe:i.e. Australia, Turkey, Japan, Please allow 5 to 7 working days
    • orders up to 2.5 kilos £35.00
    • Orders over 2.5kilos £60.00
  • Other - Please phone or e-mail requesting a quote

Please note; if you are ordering more than one size for fit (limit of 3 items), if the order was despatched by signed for carrier, we will refund the price of the returned goods + £2.50 towards your return postage per order.

Prices

Goods are charged at price shown on the product pages on the date the customer places the order. Delivery charges are added during the check-out process based on customer selection. Prices are correct at time of publication. Errors and omissions are excepted. Orders will be processed at our published prices, otherwise, in the case of any unexpected change in price, you will be informed and asked if you wish to reconsider your order before proceeding.

Complaints

If we should receive a complaint about any part of our service, by phone,fax,e-mail or letter,then it will be dealt with promptly (we will reply within 5 working days).It will then be dealt with confidentially,and effectively.
