I am filled with wonder at the amazing range of boots on sale this year even more so at the price ranges: net-a-porter for instance, with boots starting at the £400.00!!! Granted they are designer boots but they will still only have a certain life expectancy as everything goes out of fashion so quickly. It is also interesting to note that the sizes never go above a 41-42 or size 8 in UK terms. The large size boots featured on this site are all at the £100.00 mark with my  gorqeous Black Leather Riding Boots at  only £65.00…. and all in large sizes too

I remember about 29 years ago buying a pair of beautiful brown leather boots knee high with a suede cuff. They were the only ones in the shop that fitted ..just  and they were £120.00!!!!!  On being asked the usual question husbands ask, “HOW MUCH” I replied £60.00 …… EACH!!  I don’t think he ever really knew what I meant. Still they went the same way as all boots do as soon as they went out of fashion.I am sure the riding boots will more than hold their own for a few years to come.

Hi everyone!  I am Peta and this is my first attempt at my very own blog. I sat musing about what to write  and what title to use. I have done a bit of blogging but never quite like this so, I scoured the internet for ideas on how to get going. The bits I managed to pick were quite clear on the procedure “be clear about the purpose, keep it short, share articles and advice, check your spelling  and last but by no mean least “what’s in for them!!! So here goes….

The purpose- I thought we could start with all your own shopping experiences with large size feet as this is very much a pet subject of mine. I would like to hear about your shopping adventures as a tall girl.  To start the ball rolling I thought we could have a competition for the best story.

Keeping it short may be quite difficult for me as I usually have a lot to say!!! As I am as passionate as ever trying to find the large size shoes for us all.
